The Mask Sling

The Mask Sling

thingiverse

Last week I teamed up with a fellow University of Michigan Mechanical Engineering Student, Alex Netzley, to design a mask to help a man with C4 Quadriplegia in a design challenge. In conceptualizing and iteration we discovered a design that could help a wide variety of people who experience difficulty in putting on a mask. We called this design, the Mask Sling. Rather than keeping this to ourselves, we have decided to make the CAD available worldwide, to anyone who may find it useful for them or someone they know. To make it universal and easily accessible, the Mask Sling is entirely 3D printable on any device that has a printing platform of 4”x 4” or larger. We have attached the CAD links down below. We are pleased and excited to share this project with the LinkedIn community and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns
