The Marshal's Mace belongs to Marshal Wojciech Trampczyński, the Legislative Sejm's Marshal and later Senate's Marshal. It is used in both Houses. A personal gift given by Members of Parliament on April 23, 1920, the Mace became private property belonging to Wojciech Trampczyński. The mace head, shaped like a Baroque-style boat (ship), symbolizes the Polish state rising from waves with a crowned eagle sitting on an oak wreath where the mast used to be, representing victory. Designed by J. Smoliński and made of bronze by the Łopieński brothers, a well-known company in Warsaw.
