Parian marble statue of a nude standing youth, less than life-size, preserved from base of neck to below knees; head and lower legs missing, both arms broken away above biceps. Surface in excellent condition except for minor abrasions. Standing front, balanced on both legs, right leg slightly drawn back. Arms at sides, forearms bent forward reaching thighs, points of attachment remain. Hair short, no trace remains on neck. Bony chest structure heavily emphasized contrasting with slender and soft body forms. Collarbones prominent; shoulders narrow and sloping. Breasts high placed in high relief carried back to armpits; nipples chipped but originally large. Lower edge of ribs strongly outlined; navel eye-shaped, lower abdomen and hips long and narrow. Thighs and legs square-cut in section. At the back, flat shoulders prominent pelvis, spine slightly incurved. This object part of "Scan The World".
