Here is a little project I've been working on for quite some time now. Feel free to download, enhance the .skp file, and share your modifications. Scale: 1/6500 My objective is to have it printed all the way up to the 125th street and proudly display it on my wall, where it will stretch approximately 2 meters long. Here's the process I've followed: - First, I used CadMapper to extract the necessary data. - Next, I concatenated every 1km² together within Sketchup. - Then, I cleaned up the resulting mesh to obtain a solid volume. - After that, I exported it as a .Stl file. - Finally, I took it into Netfabb to scale it accurately and perform additional cleaning before printing.
