The Mandalorian Breach Charge

This is my take on The Mandalorian Breach Charge. My version uses an LED insert. I had originally used the Breach charge by ChrisThePropGuy from here on Thingiverse and modified it by designing an insert that screws into the bottom. I'd modified it so much I just went ahead and designed my own Breach Charge in blender to create this one. It has three pieces, the Breach Charge, Insert, and Lens. The Lens can be printed in red filament, and it looks ok. The lens looks best when printed in transparent red on a resin printer. You can also laser cut red acrylic instead if you have access to a laser. Transparet filament, might also look good. The red filament, doesn't let you see the 5 LEDs underneath like the transparent resin does. You will also need 5 x 1/8x1/16 magnets for the back. Your breach charge holder will also need a magnet behind it to turn the LEDs off. I printed these in Hatchbox Silver ABS using a .2 height. The Breach Charge will need supports, due to the overhang inside. No brims are needed. The LED snaps into the insert. Line up the dots on the Insert and the Breach underneath. Twist right to lock. Add the magnets and you're done! Category: Other
