The Mandalorian Breach Charge

The Mandalorian Breach Charge

thingiverse

This is my take on the Mandalorian Breach Charge. My version uses an LED insert. I had originally used the Breach charge by ChrisThePropGuy from Thingiverse and modified it by designing a screw-in insert at the bottom. I'd modified it so much I just went ahead and designed my own Breach Charge in Blender to create this one. It has three pieces: the Breach Charge, Insert, and Lens. The Lens can be printed with red filament, and it looks pretty good. The lens looks best when printed in transparent red on a resin printer. You can also laser cut red acrylic if you have access to a laser. Transparent filament might also look great. However, the red filament doesn't allow you to see the 5 LEDs underneath like the transparent resin does. You will need five 1/8x1/16 magnets for the back, and your Breach Charge holder will also require a magnet behind it to turn off the LEDs. I printed these in Hatchbox Silver ABS using a .2 height. The Breach Charge needs supports due to the overhang inside. No brims are required.
