UPDATE: Two new alternate scenes and numerous new architectural elements & props increase the Prefab total to 400+. Watch the new videos to see the alternate scenes. This package was compiled using Unity version 5.5.4 but was thoroughly tested in both Unity 2017 & Unity 2018. Is your game comprised of experiments gone terribly wrong? Does it include science fiction, a historical setting or steampunk environment? Are there trips through aging engine & boiler rooms or creepy warehouses featuring old industrial equipment? Perhaps you need chemistry equipment, unsettling castles or dungeons with Jacobs Ladders and Tesla coils. If so, this is the perfect pack for your game! The items in this pack are primarily designed to bring a mad scientist's laboratory to life, yet many of these items can be utilized in a wide range of environments. Many items in this pack come with alternate designs, associated decals or modified textures. Along with item default materials, multiple-use materials have been included for easy swapping of textures on floors, walls, ceilings, rugs, tapestries & other objects. Some architectural elements use multiple materials to facilitate mixing and matching of textures as well. This package features 330+ prefabs to aid you in creating a custom environment that is uniquely yours. In addition to these prefabs, a demonstration scene showcasing a portion of the Mad Scientist's castle & lab has been included to help you understand how pieces can fit together seamlessly. The pack's prefabs and items in the demo scene already have colliders attached - so if you import Unity's standard assets & add the default FPS controller or your preferred one, the scene is fully equipped for first-person exploration. This package boasts 100% PBR functionality, with all items containing albedo, metallic, roughness/smoothness & normal data. Most objects also feature ambient occlusion data, while a few materials incorporate height maps as well. The majority of items have albedo textures of 2048x2048 dimensions. Metallic and smoothness textures may be smaller in size to reduce the overall package file. Create your own ill-fated science experiment today! This package is available in the form of a 2gb Unity package. Most of the items included comprise approximately 1500-3500 polygons, while all items are under 10,000 polygons. A handful of objects are animated but the majority of these items remain static by default. The vast majority of items within this package are in .FBX format, though a few items use the .OBJ file type. Please note that the lighting within the demo scene works best with your scene camera set to deferred render mode. Nonetheless, the included items themselves are fully compatible with forward rendering.
