The Longhouse
thingiverse
Where better to hang up the sword for a day or two, pull up a flagon of mead or ten, and celebrate Yule, the winter solstice, Modraniht or any other end-of-year pagan festivity, than at the village long house, courtesy of Thegn's generosity? This iconic building represents a traditional Longhouse from the Anglo-Saxon era during the Viking invasions / Alfred the Great's reign. Crafted in 28mm scale, it's designed for the wargaming table but will also captivate those fascinated by the Dark Ages period. It's suitable for any viking structure as well. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: Fine Notes: Please note that the two roof sections are quite thin, and the tile rows are mere fractions of an inch above the next. You may need to adjust your layer width to achieve the finest resolution possible. I've included a roof truss in the package, but mine came together seamlessly without one as long as the top roof edges align perfectly against each other and are glued securely.
