The Locking Logs puzzle
thingiverse
This puzzle has two identical pieces that fit together in a cross pattern, and the challenge lies in distinguishing between them. To complete this project, you will need four metal rods with 4mm diameter and 35mm length, similar to those found here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32868697789.html Set your slicer to pause at the top of the horizontal cavities so that you can place the two pins before continuing with the print. The printing process is straightforward: use PLA material, set the layer thickness to 0.2mm, apply three shell layers, and maintain an infill percentage of 15%. Do not employ any material support during this phase. Once the printing is complete, clean the through holes by drilling them using a 3/16 drill bit. This step ensures that the pins move smoothly through the holes. The Fusion 360 design file for this project is included.
