The last MX Ergo Stand
prusaprinters
I initially wanted to buy a MX Ergo Plus but they were not available at the time. So I went searching for a wedge I could print myself. I have tried many different designs the last year or so and even designed one myself. But I still was missing things. This is my final design for a wedge for extra tilt that has all things I want:the metal plate on the desk for gripkeep the tilt optionUsb dongle storage storage for a ball pusherbeing able to pick up and move the whole setIn the stand two magnets (6x3 mm) take over the roll from the plate so the Ergo can tilt and remain in the desired position. I have included files with or without embedded magnets. Just add a pauze in your slicer at the correct layer (mine was layer number 18) and insert the magnets before the printer closes the hole. Double check the orientation of the magnets! I have included holes for two additional 6x3 mm magnets to keep the plate attached to the bottom of the stand. I have printed the 15° version in black nGenFLEX, a semi-flexible filament with a shore hardness of 95A, and it came out really well. The plate is secure even without magnets. I highly recommend printing the stand in TPU or similar filament. My print settings were:4x walls, 25% infil and 5mm outer brim. No supports. There are two test prints One to check the dimensions and see of the magnets will line up for the tilt action and another to if your plate will fit the stand. If not just scale the stand.
