Customizable Filament Sensor ======================= This sensor is designed to be a one-size-fits-all solution for filament monitoring. After researching various options, I found that most commercially available sensors were either too large or not adaptable to different switch sizes. This customizable sensor addresses this issue by allowing users to input specific dimensions for their filament and switch. Description --------------- The sensor's design is fully customizable, requiring only measurements of the screw holes, switch size, and desired wiring space. Users can specify these parameters to create a tailored solution. Measuring Screw Holes --------------------- Measuring the screw holes accurately is crucial. To do this, use a caliper to measure the width and depth of each hole, taking care to center the measurements. For switches with non-symmetrical screws or filament flanges, it's essential to record both X and Y coordinates for each screw. Updated Features ================ The sensor now includes an option to incorporate a square header instead of a wire hole. This feature enhances the device's durability by allowing users to easily attach and detach it without worrying about wires being pulled loose. For those without crimpers, the original wire hole remains available.
