I've crafted this with a snap-on lid that keeps the pieces in place and saves your game! The lid snaps onto the bottom for storage while you're using it, making it perfect for travel. Edward deBono is arguably one of the smartest people on the planet. He coined the term "lateral thinking." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_de_Bono https://www.edwddebono.com https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L_game The first book I read by deBono was "A Five Day Course in Thinking," which transformed my life. DeBono realized that we have multiple problem-solving mental states or systems, and learning to understand which strategies were available to us (and which one we're on) is crucial for effective problem solving. This game, featured in the book, can be played indefinitely by two skilled players. It's won when you arrange the board so your opponent can't move. The rules are simple: You must move your L onto at least one new board space each turn. Your L can be flipped, but it cannot overlap another piece. If you want to, you can move one of the circular neutral pieces to any unoccupied board space (the color doesn't matter – either player can move either ring). The game ends when your opponent can no longer move their L.
