In the new design, although it weighs merely 2% more than its predecessor, it successfully passes all FEA tests. Due to incorrect material specifications in Ti-6Al-4V from Inventor 2013's standard library, a custom material was created using data pulled from Solidworks. For those utilizing Inventor 2013, the correct material is available for download on this page. The original part had a mass of 2111.647 grams and a volume of 28.27 cubic inches, while 'The Kraken' has a mass of 563.38 grams and a volume of 7.76 cubic inches. FEA test results include 109.7 max ksi at 8000 up, 106.3 max ksi at 8500 horizontal out, 93.25 max ksi at 9500 @ 42 deg, and 97.8 max ksi at 5500 torsion.
