(Pictured printed with ABS without stand) The Kinks were an English rock band formed in Muswell Hill, North London, by brothers Dave and Ray Davies in 1963. They are considered one of the most significant and influential rock groups of their time.[1][2] Emerging in 1964 during Britain's rhythm and blues and Merseybeat peak, they briefly joined the British Invasion of the US before a 1965 touring ban ended their visit. Their third single, "You Really Got Me," written by Ray Davies, became an international hit, topping UK charts and reaching the Top 10 in the United States.[4] Between the mid-1960s and early 1970s, they released multiple hit singles; studio albums received positive reviews but sold less than compilations of their singles. Their reputation for reflecting English culture and lifestyle grew due to Ray Davies' observational writing style.[2] Albums such as Face to Face, Something Else, The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society, Arthur, Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, and Muswell Hillbillies, along with their accompanying singles, are regarded among the most influential recordings of the time.[1][3][5] Check out my other band designs at https://pinshape.com/users/16362-neilblue Thanks
