The Joyful Shower Head

I love this model so much. The original designer, bendansie, did an incredible job on it, so I really wanted to do something with it for the Remix Challenge. Check out the link to the original design here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:897412. The STL is already properly positioned to print, arranged flat on the threaded part because that was the orientation requiring the least amount of supports and most easily removed ones. Keep in mind that I only personally tested the high-resolution file, so those may or may not be functional. I've included Meshmixer files for anyone who wants to make changes. Print Settings: Printer: TEVO Tarantula Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 10% Notes: Speed: 50mm/s Top/Bottom Layers: 5 Perimeters: 4 Post-Printing: It needed a ton of supports, but they all broke away easily. I couldn't get the supports out of the tube inside her body, but it doesn't affect water flow much, if at all. How I Designed This: I wanted to turn it into a shower head, so I sliced it up in Meshmixer and grabbed a STEP file for a threaded cap from McMaster-Carr. The threads and diameter would be correct then. Next, I just pressed the threaded part into a tube through her body. To get a wall for holes inside her mouth, I added a cube, resized it to fit, with a thickness of 5mm, and moved it inside her face. Then, I made the holes by adding a hexagonal grid pattern on that wall, with 2mm holes and a spacing of 1.5mm. That's pretty much it. I'm mostly happy with how it turned out, although it doesn't make the greatest shower head ever used, but I think it looks awesome and it actually works.
