The Jefferson Memorial

The Jefferson Memorial

The Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC was modeled for a flight simulator program and had to be less than 500k in size when it was first created. To make printing easier on a 3D printer, I reworked the model to increase its resolution. The model has been divided into four parts: three can be printed without support, but the dome is likely to require some assistance. I recommend gluing building parts one and two together while leaving the base and dome unattached for now. A suitable model of Thomas Jefferson's statue will be added in the near future, which currently resides at the center of the memorial. The original version of the model remains available as well.
