The Iron Giant

To create this intricate model, you must separate each part individually. Utilizing SolidWorks, I managed to design it within three days, followed by a two-week printing process for each component. It is essential to identify the number of parts and their orientations accurately, as the printer's tolerance may not be perfect, resulting in post-finishing requirements. Interestingly, all joints utilize 1mm paper clips as pins, with only the knee joint employing a 2mm pin (due to my laziness). Assemble your own life-sized Iron Giant using the STL files available on Thingiverse, but remember, non-commercial usage only.
With this file you will be able to print The Iron Giant with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on The Iron Giant.
