Since I watched this British sitcom "The IT Crowd," I wanted to create "THE INTERNET" just like in series 3 episode 4 of this remarkable piece of TV history. Today, recalling my long-lost CAD skills and having added an Ender 3 to my workshop, making this wish come true is a breeze. This is a work in progress - I had a lot of fun modeling this piece and making it as close as possible to the original thing. However, I haven't printed it yet, so alignment and perfect fit can't be guaranteed. Top and bottom are to be printed in black (probably PLA), the socket might be silver, grey, or white, and the LED needs to be red unless you replace it with a working 5mm LED. A metal socket will surely fail to fit unless the central hole in the top piece is modified. I thought it would be nice to add embossed letters "THE INTERNET," so I did. I'd highly appreciate any comment, and please post a picture if you actually printed one of my designs. Thank you! Never drop THE INTERNET, or the world as we know it will come to an end!
