Combined part- and hotend fan duct with interchangeable nozzles fits most Creality printers since it's mounted directly on the MK8 hot end. Designed without sharp edges and bends to minimize noise and optimize air flow, this combined fan duct is a game-changer for 3D printing enthusiasts. Auto bed leveling probes are not included in the design due to the mounting method, which isn't rigid enough for that purpose. However, a separate ABL mounting fixture can be used for this feature. Hot End Fan Duct: Version 2 (Updated 01-27-2019): Improved mounting method provides more stability and works with PLA. The snug fit over the hot end may require adjustments to fit on your printer. To print without support, four 0.2 mm bridges must be added and cut away according to picture instructions. Follow the same mounting procedure as in version 1 for optimal results. Version 1: Mount the 40x40x10 fan provided with your printer to the fan duct using 4 pcs of 3mm nuts and 4 pcs of 3mm screws (14-18mm long). Place the fan duct over the hot end and gently push it into position. Cutting away 6mm of the bridge on top will make it easier to slide over the PTFE tube. Part Fan Duct: Two printing options are available: print 'Part_Fan_Duct_Assembled.stl' or separate parts 'Part_Fan_Duct.stl' and 'Fan_Mount.stl'. Glue the latter two together for a secure fit. Mount a 5015 Blower Fan and slide the fan duct onto it, using 2 pcs of 4mm x 25mm screws and 2 4mm nuts. Wiring (For Ender-4 only): If your 5015 Blower Fan is 24V, use the 'Fan1' connector. For a 12V fan, use the upper 12V connector marked on the controllerboard picture. Extend the wires if necessary, but beware of the swapped polarity on the Ender-4 controllerboard. Nozzles: If the nozzles sit loose, heat up the mounting bracket and give it a gentle bend to secure them in place. Nozzle_01: Normal fan nozzle that blows down on the part from two sides. Available in four versions with 5, 10, 15, or 20 degree drop on the nozzle tip. Nozzle_02: Fan nozzle that blows slightly down on the part from four tubes. Nozzle_03: Circular fan nozzle. Nozzle_04: Fan nozzle that blows past the nozzle, reducing airflow bounce-back from the build plate. This can be helpful without a silicone sock on the heating block. All parts can be printed without support in their respective STL file orientations.
