The Impossible Gem Knob

<h3><strong>Overview</strong></h3><p>Looks like a gem, but then again, what gem could look like this?</p><p>There are two stem length options depending on personal preference and both models are designed for use with standard #8-32 screws. &nbsp;I've also included the original STEP files so you can easily edit the bolt size if need be.</p><h3><strong>Printing</strong></h3><p>I printed using Prusament Dark Blue PVB on the Prusa i3 MK3 with 0.1mm layer height and a 0.4mm nozzle. &nbsp;The provided g-code only uses 0.15mm layer height because it reduces risk of a failed print from low layer height, while maintaining a lot of detail in the print. &nbsp;</p><p>The STLs are included if you do want to re-slice and add more detail with a smaller nozzle and layer height. &nbsp;For supports, just select “support on build plate only”. &nbsp;I'd also recommend using variable layer height, with thicker layers on the stem and thinner layers on the knob. &nbsp;This can help speed up the print if the default time is too long.</p><p>Please like it if you do and leave any comments!</p><p>Check out my <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@gcv3d?is_from_webapp=1&amp;sender_device=pc">TikTok</a>!</p><p>Check out my <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5bZDx5pKcU-l8q12rkAs9w">YouTube</a>!</p>
