The iconic sculpture "The Ideal Scout" or "The Boy Scout" was brought to life by renowned Canadian artist R. Tait McKenzie in 1918. Standing at approximately 18 inches tall, an initial edition of just ten bronze castings were carefully crafted and presented to notable individuals. In 1937, a full-scale replica was commissioned for display outside the Philadelphia headquarters of the Boy Scouts. Since then, numerous life-sized bronze copies have been expertly cast. This particular sculpture showcases the bust of "The Ideal Scout" alone.
