My students plunged headfirst into their First Lego League Hydrodynamics research project, rapidly gaining expertise on the fascinating world of water filtration. They uncovered a remarkable fact about penguins, who possess a gland capable of transforming saltwater into freshwater with ease. To put this knowledge into practice, they designed and built a functional model of a water bottle that can effectively convert saltwater into fresh, potable drinking water.
