Summary I upgraded The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch from Monty Python and the Holy Grail with a magnetic closure for grenades. On September 28, 2016, I added captures for 8mm neodymium magnets. This is an updated "hollow" version of the iconic hand grenade. I decided to add a sound chip that can record any sound you want, which activates when pulling out the cross pin. You'll need to buy a $2 sound module from eBay (see link below) and create metal tabs to replace the basic switch on the sound board. Two images show how my contacts are designed: one with closed contacts and no pin, another with separated contacts and a pin in place. An image also shows both speaker and sound module placement within the grenade (a see-through gray model). Note that I haven't built this yet, so I'm not sure about the board mount's perfect placement.
