Fast forward to the present day, that imagination has become a reality. This innovative project marks a new chapter for me as I strive to master integrating springs into my designs. For years, rubber bands were my go-to solution for storing mechanical potential energy. Now, with this Pistol Highlighter, I'm pushing myself to explore more sophisticated approaches. Crafting this device demands precise printing settings - it's not an easy feat. But the end result is worth it. I designed this marvel with a specific goal in mind: to work seamlessly within my printer's tolerance of ±0.2mm. Assembly requires some elbow grease, including sanding and superglue.
