the hidden ancient relic planter
thingiverse
This really old, mysterious relic planter has been hidden in Area 51 for a long time, and now that it's finally out in the open, we can start examining it closely. Maybe, just maybe, we'll even decide to use it as a planter again someday; after all, it was originally designed with plants in mind. A big thank you to MakerBot, 3DWP, and Icenvain for providing us with the tools needed to remix this relic into something new and exciting. There are two versions of this planter available - one with a built-in drainage system, and another without. As for printing it out, we're not entirely sure what orientation will work best, so feel free to experiment and see what works for you. Just be sure to scale it up to the size you need, but don't go too small or the walls might become too thin. I took a shot at remixing this relic just for kicks, and while I haven't actually printed one out yet, it's definitely looking like an interesting project.
