The Hexa Lamp

Makit presents... the Hexa Lamp, a groundbreaking introduction to electronics that's accessible to everyone! I set out to create something that seamlessly combined electronics with ease of assembly, and what better way than designing a lamp that's always welcome on our desk? So, I got to work and brought this innovative design to life. Beyond its functionality as a lamp, the Hexa Lamp features interchangeable discs, allowing it to be used as a bat signal to project symbols, letters, or logos onto walls or roofs. With the Hexa Lamp, anyone can easily purchase electronics and assemble them without requiring special skills or soldering! It works effortlessly with any standard USB port and can be placed in either a vertical or horizontal position to project its image. Initially, there are several interchangeable discs available, but I'd love to hear your ideas for new designs - just let me know! If you decide to print the Hexa Lamp, please share some pictures of how it turns out - I'm eager to see the creative results! When printing, keep in mind that the body wall is very thin (0.8mm) to maximize LED light output. To achieve this, I used a 0.4mm nozzle with 2 shells and 0% infill. Before inserting the disc, remove any built-in supports from the body. For detailed instructions and materials, visit makitpro.com.
