I was incredibly thankful when I stumbled upon this thing on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/WayGroovy) because I'm not very patient with lengthy prints and this vase mode drawer saved me a lot of time. Thank you WayGroovy for creating it. The original upper drawer had one major flaw - it couldn't open fully because it touched the Y-belt tensioner screws, so I modified it into two pieces to fix this issue. The small piece fills in the left space of the drawer. Despite making some adjustments, I still wanted to speed up the print time and decided to try again. Please note that the EXPERIMENTAL OPTIONS below are crucial as printing with 0.28 layer height would cause the shape in front of the drawer to hang awkwardly. With these options, this problem is fixed. The Gcodes are ready to print on an Ender 3, and everything fits perfectly. If you prefer STLs, here's a simplified guide for those who don't have much time or patience: Printing Instructions Noozle: Use noozle 0.4 Quality - Layer Height: 0.28 - Line Width: 0.8 (yes, double the nozzle size) - Initial Layer Line Width: 105% Shell - Bottom layers: 4 Material Choose a resistant material like PETg, Nylon, or ABS. Speed Print Speed: My Ender 3 printed it at 50/80 mm/s without any issues; feel free to adjust according to your preference. Cooling Enable Print Cooling: YES Support Supports: NO Special Modes Surface Mode: NORMAL Spiralized Contours: YES (this is like the vase mode) Smooth Spiralized Contours: YES Experimental (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DO) Make Overhang Printable: YES Maximum Model Angle: 25° NOTE: The drawer 2 file "Drawer2_complet but touches the screws and can't open.stl" or upper drawer touches in the belt tensioner screws when opening and cannot slide totally out. Instead, you can print "Drawer2_-with 5mm_screws free_.stl" and the little piece "Block 5mm_To put beside the upper drawer_.stl" to complete the housing, making the drawer perfectly slide out just beside the belt tensioner screws. These two files make the upper drawer in two pieces, allowing it to slide out easily.
