The Helix Of Fate - Dice Tower

The Helix Of Fate - Dice Tower

prusaprinters

After you successfully hacked the terminal, you find the right code to unlock the shrine in front of you. You always knew there was a way to get this old ruin powered again and open it. For years you were searching and soon your efforts will pay off.Surprisingly, the old mechanism still works without any squeaking noises! Within the shrine you find a small metal-like cylinder. It is not very heavy and a helix is carved into its surface. Quickly you turn to your books and scan the pages in hopes of finding a clue as to what this curious cylinder could be. You think to yourself, “This must be something very powerful if it gets protected this well!”Studying your books, turning the cylinder in your hands, you investigate it closely for clues. You need a while to collect all the information but eventually something clicks! The terminal is helpful as well, although the translations are not always clear. Eventually you are sure you have a helix of fate in your hand. A powerful artifact, able to bend the weave of fate and destiny. With a little twist you open the cover. The bottom now shifts sideways and reveals several energy cores. You realize that the device is operated by throwing the energy cores in at the top. While running through the helix it charges the artifact and good fate is on your side. But you need to make wise decisions when to use it.May it always roll in your favor.https://youtube.com/shorts/ORG8SoK16xcThis is the Helix Of Fate Dice Tower, it stores your dice and also keeps a tray with it. Making this the most compact and space efficient all in one DiceTowerBoxTray solutions of all time. This is a derivative of my Helix Dice Tower. It comes in two sizes, a regular and a large one. The regular size is the minimalist size to store 4-5 dice, which either refers to your most basic needs or the system you use. (eg. Numenera has only d6, d10, d% and d20). The large version keeps at least one regular 7 pcs rpg set (my dice are a bit bigger then standard and its made to fit one set of those)What you need:one towerone cover (tower and cover in the same size)one tray3 neodymium disc magnets 6mm x 3mm.The tray file already includes the stands, these get glued to the bottom of the tower. The magnets work as rest points for the tray. Also, the cover locks the tray as well, so first you need to open the cover, then you can pull out the tray. For a smooth gliding of the cover, some tape is required to make a nice fit between cover and tower. More info about that in this YouTube video.3mf files coming soon, but regular print settings for 0.2mm layers work fine. All parts have a good amount of clearance and should fit easily together. Disclaimer: The dice in the pictures are my own creation, if you're interested in that, check out my Instagram profile and contact me there. Same for print on demand. I don't have a shop and do commissions and print on demand as my time allows.
