A small ceramic head was unearthed from the Vistula river as a result of excavations led by Hubert Kowalski at IAUW. This treasure is part of a vast collection stolen by Swedish troops during their invasion of Warsaw in 1655. A raft carrying valuable goods had sunk during transportation to Sweden, providing archaeologists with an opportunity to recover the artifacts more than 300 years after they went missing. The model was created using photogrammetric methods by Miron Bogacki.
