I dubbed this device "The Halo" because our health care workers are truly our angels in our battle against covid 19. There have been previous designs of mask hangers but the inherent problem was that unless the wearer has a ponytail the mask tended to slip down in the straps once again resting on the ears, causing mask fatigue. I remedied this problem as the Halo sits on the back of the head distributing mask pressure to a wider surface area and ensuring a universal fit for everyone with greater comfort for situations that require extended wear. The mask can be sized by changing the ratio on the printers. After the mask is printed, for a more comfortable fit, set the Halo on top of a basketball and using a hair dryer, thermal form the Halo to the surface of the ball To our precious health care providers, THANK YOU, for serving on the front lines.
