The Grinch! [Day 5]

A statue of the Grinch stands proudly in front of Legends Gallery in La Jolla, a tribute to one of the city's most beloved residents. Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, called La Jolla home from 1948 until his passing in 1991, during which time he penned some of his most iconic children's books, including How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and Green Eggs and Ham. With La Jolla's picturesque backdrop, it's no wonder that Geisel found inspiration for many of his stories while living there.
