The Green Stone Puzzle
thingiverse
Version 2.0 of my Puzzle Game - Stow the Green Stone with Other Stones in the Box! The ultimate goal of this puzzle is to safely store the green stone alongside its companions in a single box. Over time, I have consistently refined and perfected this game, tweaking the design, crafting multiple lid variations, and continuously pushing it forward. Now, I'm thrilled to unveil the second iteration of this engaging puzzle. Initially, it took me considerable time to solve the puzzle, and many questioned whether it was even possible. The good news is that there's indeed a solution! If you're unable to crack it after an extended period, feel free to ask for a gentle nudge in the right direction. With plenty of time at home during these times, you'll have ample opportunity to figure out the puzzle. A clever design feature allows the green stone to be held securely in place by a magnet. You can access various versions of the game as .stl files, including ones with and without magnets, as well as a test print for your convenience. Important Note: There are two distinct lid sizes - one extremely snug that works seamlessly with well-calibrated printers and another slightly larger version. Before proceeding, I recommend printing the test print to determine which size suits your printer's specifications better. To insert the magnet into the green stone, simply pause the print (initiate a filament change in Prusaslicer). Be cautious: depending on your printer and print bed configuration, the magnet might stick to the hotend! To prevent this, apply some hot glue to secure it in place. Fortunately, the steel sheet of the Prusa printer allows the magnet to adhere perfectly without additional adhesives. Please note that it's essential to align the magnets correctly - one in the lid and the other in the green stone - to ensure a smooth puzzle-solving experience. If you enjoy this game as much as I do, please take a moment to rate and share your thoughts. This puzzle is, without a doubt, my favorite project to date.
