My submission for the ‘Fairy Tale challenge. ‘A New Hope’ is a story so rich it supported a host of sequels and prequels and continues do so. As with the best fairytales it has a timeless appeal that speaks to all ages and cultures. This model of a 3d pop up book is suggestive of the plethora of supporting material that has spawned from the original story. The image on the cover of the book is adapted from a Marvel Comic (Marvel Worldwide Inc). The story line and the rest of the images that make up this model’s texture are adapted from the original movie created by Lucasfilm Ltd, which is now a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Studios. All copyrights & trademarks remain with the respective owners. This model is fan art and pays homage to what must rank as the greatest fairy story of the 20th Century.
