The Great Wave off Kanagawa
thingiverse
This is a stunning 3D printed recreation of The Great Wave off Kanagawa. The original woodblock print was created in Japan around 1830 and has since become an iconic piece of art. Check out the full story behind this masterpiece at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Great_Wave_off_Kanagawa. This model is a single, seamless piece that showcases the beauty of 3D printing. To achieve the color changes, I used filament swaps, resulting in a truly eye-catching effect. I designed the model to fit perfectly on a 200 mm x 200 mm print bed, using a 0.4 mm nozzle. While the waves may not be as dark blue as the original image, I personally prefer the lighter blue tone that adds a touch of uniqueness to this piece. If you'd like a darker blue model, feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to accommodate your request.
