Originally proposed by William van der Wal, the model is derived from a YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjBdDWgzMlM). I adopted the concept but developed my own mechanism. Designing a rabbit proved to be the most challenging aspect. The final rendering used an OBJ model sourced online. It employs a geneva wheel with three segments for table rotation and a cam/follower to lift the dome. Modeled in Solidworks 2016, it was rendered using Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition. Frames were edited with Virtualdub, saved as AVI/X264 and BMP. Video was remuxed to MP4 with MyMP4BoxGui. Gifs were made in PhotoScape, while renders were edited with IrfanView. All 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files are animated. The ZIM file can be viewed on iOS and Android devices through the free Simlab Viewer app when using the Simzip format. The model is available in various formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, and 3DS.
