The Goofy 3D-printed Watch with Tourbillon, with metal spring and massey pin

8/31/2019 Thanks to Christoph Laimer for his brilliant design. I brought it to life in a festive Asian color scheme, and powered it with a metal spring. The metal spring used can be found affordably on Amazon and is essentially a recoil spring for a chain saw, model ATVATP 2 Pack 4224 190 0600 Recoil Pull Start Spring. The only thing I designed from scratch is the post for attaching the spring. I utilized the massey pin from xiphmont: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3642038 and borrowed everything else from Christop Laimer's design, except that I made some of the holes bigger to use 2mm dia dowel pins instead of 1.5 mm. It runs between 2-10 minutes before becoming stuck. So there is still some friction to overcome with some parts. I may lubricate it with teflon powder and machine oil at some point to see if this will solve the problem. Update: 9/7/2019 I added a plate to make working with the metal spring easier. In essence, we will be making a smaller goring barrel and attaching this smaller barrel to the larger one in Christoph's design. Hopefully, the picture can give people a sense of what to do. Here is a link to the parts on tinkercad, for those who want to modify it for the particular spring model: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/i1PJYPI4kWM-metalspringcentralpostplate/ In any case, what I found in the assembling process is that it does not matter if you have a metal spring, the watch will not work if the tourbillon does not move easily by hand power. Also, it is easier to assemble the top part of the watch, the tourbillon and the middle main gear train before attaching the going barrel and the bottom case cover. 10/1/2019 I designed a replacement Going barrel for metal springs.
