My latest interactive puzzle poster design is a cutting-edge 3D printing project that benefits a fantastic charitable cause! Visit http://nifty50.sociodesign.co.uk to see it for yourself. This visually striking artwork or challenging puzzle would be perfect for bigger kids with an interest in contemporary themes. It's the result of a collaborative effort between me and a talented designer friend. The "Nifty 50" poster project brings together 50 designers, each interpreting the concept of "Money" in their own unique way, all in aid of @CMHCharity, which is being organized by @SocioDesign. Check out the auction at http://nifty50.sociodesign.co.uk/bidding/57/wolff-olins/the-goods-life. I'm hopeful that this project will generate a lot of interest and help raise significant funds for the charity. There are only a few days left to bid on these incredible designs, so please visit http://cmhcharity.org.uk and show your support! However, if you're up for a 3D printing challenge, feel free to print this design yourself – I'm sure someone will purchase the original! Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1-0.2mm Infill: 20-30% Notes: Printed with Faberdashery PLA (http://www.faberdashery.co.uk). This design consists of 48 puzzle pieces that can be printed without support or raft. To retain detail, print at a high resolution. The full poster size is A2 (420x594mm), but scaling it to 50% should still allow the pieces to fit together. Be aware that over-extrusion may cause issues with smaller sizes. How I Designed This All of my designs are original, except for the Lamborghini and heels, which were adapted from excellent 3D model sources: http://www.dmi-3d.net/modelscar9.html and http://archive3d.net/?tag=high%20heels. Thank you to these talented creators!
