This is a shift knob designed specifically for a Ford Ranger, however, it will also fit perfectly on an F-250 model without any modifications required. For other models, it's essential to verify that the knob will fit properly before making a purchase. One crucial aspect to note is that the top of the inner sphere requires additional supports in the center area. Fortunately, this is the only modification needed, and no further support should be necessary elsewhere. Due to its snug fit, you may need to tap it gently with a mallet to secure it in place. In my own experience, using a mallet was essential for a proper installation.
