The Dacian Draco, a fierce emblem of ancient warriors, proudly displayed by Decebalus' soldiers in vivid scenes carved into Trajan's Column in Rome, Italy. Its dragon-like shape bursts with wolfish ferocity, jaws wide open to reveal several metal tongues. A hollow dragon head atop a pole, secured by a fabric tube at the rear, makes the draco come alive when blown into the wind or held above a horseman's head. The Golden Spring of Dacians Monument stands tall on Unirii Street since October 13, 2002, crafted by renowned sculptor Nicolae Adam. This stunning work of environmental art boasts an architectural ensemble dominated by the fearsome Dacian banner of battle - the mighty Dacian Draco, a serpent with wolf-like body - one of the most intimidating military insignias in ancient history. Nearby, the Orthodox Church "Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary" ("Adormirea Maicii Domnului") stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of this proud people.
