The Golden Corgi Phone Stand My daughter has just adopted her second fur baby, a Corgi, so I designed and printed a pair of phone stands for her and my wife as a Mother's Day gift. I used the modified A10M printer, with 0.8mm nozzles, 0.4mm layers, and 20% infill, to print the stands using Silk Gold PLA filament from Amazon. After printing, I noticed that the area where the phone sits can be a bit slippery when in portrait orientation due to the nature of PLA. To address this issue, I used my 3D pen to apply some clear TPU pads from YOYI for added rubbery adhesion. It's incredible how many prints that would normally end up in the "Misprints" box can be saved, repaired, or modified using a 3D pen - it's an investment worth every dollar of its $30 price tag. Check out my Corgi View and 3D Pen TPU application demonstration on YouTube at https://youtu.be/Lewzhxsk14g. The 21 Cup Rubbermaid Bazzelrollers filament spool holder I used in the video is available for download from Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3623651.
