The Gatsby
thingiverse
I designed and 3D printed an anchor for my coworker's desk, which turned into the cross-anchor business card holder due to test prints that weren't quite right. The design needed some adjustments so it would sit comfortably on a desk or even in the corner of a computer screen. Several attempts later, I ended up with five anchors on my own desk. In short, constant fidgeting led to this creation. You can place your business cards between the two anchors in various ways - feel free to get creative! You can also scale down the anchor and attach it to a key chain if you want. Your feedback is always appreciated, so please let me know about any issues and post your own makes so others can benefit. As I've only been 3D printing and designing for about a month now, be patient with me - my background's actually in psychology. Print Settings: Printer: Flash Forge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 10% Notes: Extrusion Width - .40mm, Retraction Distance - 2.00mm, Extruder Temperature - 230C, Bed Temperature - 110C, ABS Filament, Simplify3D used as Slicer. Special Note: Let the build cool completely after it's done; if you take it off too soon, the inner slot might warp. In that case, use standard 3mm sandpaper to fix and seal it. How I Designed This
