The Gardener, London Wall
myminifactory
This sculpture, named 'The Gardener', stands proudly outside Brewers Hall on London Wall's south side. Located within the small gardens of Brewers Hall, this statue is a striking addition to the surrounding area. Karin Jonzen created this life-sized bronze masterpiece in 1971. The sculpture sits atop a low white stone plinth, its base providing a solid foundation for the artwork. A male figure is depicted, dressed in working clothes, with his left knee resting on the ground and his right foot firmly planted beside it. His right hand rests gently on his right knee, while his elbow points upwards towards the sky. In contrast, his left hand lies flat against the ground, as if tending to a nearby plant. The figure's head is bowed, focused intently on the task at hand. This remarkable piece of art is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative led by MyMiniFactory.
