Watch out for those fingers! Some of these plants pack a painful bite! Gardener is a homegrown green thumb who spends most of his time outdoors tending to plants or searching for new species. This model was created as an entry into stage 2 of the Search For A Star competition; overall, I really enjoyed this project! As always, I've learned a lot. I just wish I had started it a little earlier, but given the time limit, my model is at a presentable level. Mostly, I struggled with the technical side of modeling, specifically getting the retopo to look even and smooth, and getting the UVs to be efficient. I really enjoyed working from my own concept and being able to make my own changes to the design as I go along, mostly in texturing. I'll definitely continue working on this project to tidy it up. I'd like to clean up parts of the retopology, re-do the textures, and perhaps add some extra features to the model.
