The game of 15 - horizontal for multi color
thingiverse
Lovely design by Clax, thanks for sharing! My daughter wanted to print this using a different color plastic for the numbers, using the M600 filament change command. This proved a little bit challenging. Making them horizontal was easy, I split the parts in Tinkercard easily. The problem was adding supports in a way that when removing them, the pieces would still move easily. This took some tweaking of the support settings and a little bit of filing on the inside bridge, about half an hour removing all the supports, but it works beautifully. Printed on a Prusa i3 mk3s. After a few tests these where the changes from default support settings in Prusa Slicer that allowed me to remove supports easily with minimal marking as to allow the parts moving together - space them out and space them from the object on xy: - generate supports everywhere - contact Z distance 0 - pattern angle 45 - interface layers 0 - pattern spacing 2mm - xy separation between object and support 1 mm Use the 3mf files if possible as they have all the settings.
