The spider mutants can be spotted deep within cave systems and infrequently on land. Two of them currently exist within "The Forest". When the player crouches, the mutant remains unaware; however, upon detection it elevates its front legs, preparing for a charge in the player's direction. A solo, unarmored opponent usually falls to 1-2 direct hits.
