The Tower of Foolishness - (Welsh: Tŵr Ffoleidd) - stands out prominently within a thriving farm's grounds, situated near Pontypool Park in Torfaen, South Wales. This striking landmark rises above the A4042 road connecting Pontypool to Abergavenny and offers a breathtaking view of Pontypool from the west and rural Monmouthshire from the east. The Tower boasts an octagonal shape and stands at approximately 40 feet (12 meters) tall, resting on the eastern hill range of Monmouthshire's Eastern Valley, about 1,000 feet (305 meters) above sea level just south of Mynydd Garn-Wen.
