The Folding Arduino Lab
thingiverse
This project is an amazing invention! It features a holder for Arduino with a breadboard and two drawers to store components like resistors and capacitors. The design allows easy storage of the breadboard and drawer when not in use, and protects the setup on the proto-board with a lid. An optional PLA "Spike" can be added (instructions provided in Version 2 video). Two versions are available: Version 1 and Version 2. In Version 1, M3 x 35mm screws or PLA 3mm are required along with a 2.5mm allen wrench. For Version 2, print two drawers and covers, using PLA or 6-m3 x 35mm for hinges. Assembly follows picture instructions. The creator also shares his daughter's inventing adventures in the pictures. For those without a printer, items are available at Nerditorium on Etsy. Various color combinations are offered: On Fire, Joker Special, Industrial, and Halloween Platter. Wholesale options are available for businesses selling Arduino; contact jason.welsh.edu@gmail.com for details.
