In 2007, Andrei Petrov Square was named after its creator, Andrei Petrov. On September 2, 2008, the park unveiled a sculptural composition called "The First Violin," honoring the composer's work. The inauguration ceremony drew Governor V.I. Matvienko and the composer's widow, N.E. Petrova. In the sculpture collection, "The First Violin" stands as eight artistic symbols of the Composer: "Violin-Apple," representing the temptation of music; "Violin-Slipper," a symbol of musical experimentation; "The Violin Woman" ("Muse of the Composer"), signifying inspiration; "Violin Chair" ("Throne of the Composer"), embodying musical pauses; "Violin-Swan" ("Requiem"), representing perfection in music; "Violin-Gramophone," a symbol of classical music, and two identical sculptures called "Violin-Sphinx," safeguarding musical heritage. To commemorate Andrei Petrov's birthday, a festival with outdoor concerts was held in the square. In 2005, composer Andrei Petrov participated in "Green Wave" by planting a tree on Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt. The following year, musician Michael Nowicki initiated the creation of a memorial surrounding the tree, featuring a fence shaped like a note and a fragment of the song "Blue City."
