The Klingon home planet's prized relic, the Eye of Qo'noS (Cronos), is a glowing Ptáchoch piece extracted from Cronos' molten core and stabilized within a graviton field. Its lethal radiation is contained by a Spólch and Skrá-ockg alloy found in S'pragolch penitentiary mines' frozen chambers. The matriarch of the high council, or "tlhIngan yejquv," employs it in official and ceremonial events to signify absolute rule over Cronos inhabitants. When a high-ranking officer is sentenced to death by the "tlhIngan yejquv" for betraying the empire, they're granted the honor of holding unshielded Ptáchoch in the Ptáchoch Sk'gach Qo'noS (Mother Cronos' Taking). The resulting painful, swift demise is considered a warrior's death. Such transgressions vanish from Sq'rkogs, high council records, with only the honorable passing to Qt'rgh (afterlife) noted for warriors who meet again there.
