The Extruder 3d Printing Trophy

THE PRINTER'S DELIGHT is the ultimate novelty gift and achievement trophy for any 3D printing contest, serving as a proud recognition of excellence for individuals of all skill levels, including yourself. This design was skillfully remixed from BORED MAN by tomer057, which can be found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:614806, and is licensed under the Creative Commons - Attribution - Share Alike. Building upon that license, I added a non-commercial condition to THE PRINTER'S DELIGHT license with my own modifications to the design. This model is not for the faint of heart, making it an ideal test print. To ensure successful printing, I have included built-in support in the STL file, as slicer-generated supports often result in overly complicated prints that extend printing time unreasonably long. You will need a fine pair of pliers to carefully remove the support below the nose, chin, and neck areas. The remaining support can be easily removed by hand without any tools. The provided gcode file is optimized for a 120mmx125mmx120mm build volume 3D printer with PLA filament at 200C hotend, 40C bed temperature, and speeds ranging from 40mm/s to 80mm/s. I used Trinus for this project, although I also have Monoprice Mini and Snapmaker models available. If you're using a larger volume printer, the model will print on the front-left side of the bed. The gcode is included as a convenience and can be printed in approximately 8 hours. Feel free to slice the STL file yourself or scale it up for a massive project. The S3D factory file provided showcases various slicing processes used in a single print, making it an excellent tutorial for those using S3D slicer. Printing THE PRINTER'S DELIGHT is not only rewarding but also serves as a meaningful trophy to display and cherish. I hope you enjoy printing this design as much as I did remixing BORED MAN and creating THE PRINTER'S DELIGHT.
